Litouws Cultureel Centrum together with EUNIC Netherlands celebrated the European Day of Languages 2024! To mark the occasion we participated in the morning and evening program of the event.

At the Goethe-Institut in Amsterdam, Dutch pupils participated in several language lessons, including the Lithuanian, where they explored the differences between the Lithuanian and Dutch alphabets, learned some expressions in Lithuanian and sang the Lithuanian folk song "Buvo dūda Vilniuj". Sharing the song in the On line meeting with the primary school in Alytus – "Drevinukas", was a joyous experience for many. Pupils of "Drevinukas", had as well a Dutch song ready to share!

During the evening 'Speak-Dating' event we welcomed curious guests and invited them to deepen their knowledge about the Lithuanian language and culture.
